The contemporary repertoire for the recorder is growing as we speak, and I always welcome any opportunity to cooperate with composers of my own day. I have been fortunate enough to contribute my fair share to the recorder-repertory as well, commissioning and performing world-premieres of both solo and ensemble pieces by Bára Grímsdóttir (Iceland), Caterina Calderoni (Italy), Paul Frankhuijzen (the Netherlands) and Josef Tal (Israel), among others. Unfortunately, not all of these pieces are published or recorded, so please do not hesitate to contact me in case you are interested in getting to know them !

Paul Frankhuijzen: 'Cella', excerpt from Peripteron, part 2 - 'The land of the blind singers' (live recording).

Paul Frankhuijzen: 'Orakel', excerpt from Peripteron, part 3 - 'Oracle' (live recording)

Peripteron is a chamber-opera for alto, bass, vocal ensemble and recorder quartet. The work is published by the Dutch publishing house for contemporary music Donemus.

Paul Frankhuijzen's composition Annevoie, for recorder and percussion instruments, is inspired by the peaceful Jardins d'Annevoie in Anhée, Belgium (live recording).
