In cooperation with specialized luthiers and other instrument makers, several members of the ensemble Fala Música were involved in the research and reconstruction of instruments from the late medieval period, such as the 'Dordrecht recorder' (in cooperation with Heinrich Köllner-Dives, Germany), cylindrical recorders (Monika Musch, Germany), the 'Schifanoia'-lute (Carel Huiskamp, NL), a 'viella da braccio' (Amit Tiefenbrunn, Israel), the 'Wartburg-harp' (Claus-Henry Hüttel, Germany), organetto (Marcus Stahl, Germany) and the 'Guitbert-trumpet' (Graham Nicholson, NL).
